  • 8 years of experience in warehouse or transportation work.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, BigQuery, or other advanced analytics.
  • Ability to analyze problems, think critically, and develop innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Excellent time management, resource management, and persuasion skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Global Logistics team makes sure physical deliveries and installations happen on schedule. As a member of the team, you will design processes that enable scale and speed. From global deployments of servers to the delivery of networking gear, you will ensure the right equipment arrives at the right location at the right time. In this role, you will be responsible for developing logistics infrastructure to deploy Google’s compute power.

As the Program Manager, you will join the GCL-SCALE (System Capabilities And Logistics Enablement) team to drive the delivery of critical systems and process improvement opportunities for Google's Global Logistics operations. The role focuses on ensuring project execution, fostering cross-functional engagement within GCL and with business stakeholders, and managing a key partnership with the ASCII team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of key systems projects and programs on the roadmap, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Improve coordination and collaboration between various GCL teams, business stakeholders, engineering, and other partner teams, ensuring a unified approach to system development and deployment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact and liaison with ASCII, fostering partnerships, ensuring clear requirement articulation, roadmap alignment, and program execution for joint initiatives.
  • Implement and uphold program management best practices to increase the predictability, efficiency, and quality of project delivery within the GCL systems landscape.
  • Enable the GCL organization to scale by providing the necessary program management to support an expanding portfolio of system enhancements and new solutions.
