Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 10 years of product development and management experience in the Networking domain.
- 10 years of networking experience including Wide Area Networks and Hyperscaler networks.
- 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with direct reports.
- 7 years of experience managing technical programs in network deployment/engineering, product design, network content delivery or data center networking within telecommunications or Internet industries.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Understanding the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identifies connections, adopts different perspectives and quickly responds to changing circumstances in a strategic way.
- Comfortable with changing specifications or standards, and creates the conditions in which the team feels comfortable and capable of working in response to ambiguity.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and imports and exports talent and ideas to achieve an organizational goal.
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

The role involves managing a complex portfolio across Google's entire network infrastructure (backbone, data center, peering), requiring a strong background in networking, distributed systems, and engineering. Success hinges on setting strategic direction, inspiring stakeholders, and delivering significant business impact and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Define the organizational direction and execution strategy for broad, cross-organizational projects, ensuring alignment with engineering, product, and vendor priorities through strategic partnership with executive leadership.
- Forecast resource requirements for the Technical Program Manager team while managing sublinear scaling and building a healthy, growth-oriented organization across multiple locations.
- Provide comprehensive oversight of delivery for the complete portfolio of networking initiatives across Technical Infrastructure.
- Lead and inspire a globally distributed TPM organization, instilling an end-to-end ownership mindset and driving seamless alignment among software engineering, network engineering, and partner organizations.
- Lead TPM groups to streamline processes, simplify program execution, manage top programs and OKRs, ensure on-time releases, and bring tooling efficiencies to aid team execution.
