  • 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

Core Data provides the common data infrastructure that accelerates innovation and AI development across Google product areas. Core Data partners with users across Google to help teams assemble the right lineup of solutions, products, or components for their data infrastructure and AI workloads.

As a Core Data Customer Adoption Lead, you will be responsible for crafting and owning the narrative for Core Data's offerings and Value Proposition to Google. You will drive Core Data's outreach and adoption strategy and partner closely with teams including Product management, Engineering, Strategy and Operations, and Project Management Office (PMO) brings the strategy to fruition. You will work closely with Data Science and UX to set goals, measure outcomes and drive Core Data infrastructure at Google scale.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive core data customer outreach and adoption strategy.
  • Own core data narrative and value proposition.
  • Partner cross-functionally on strategies for key campaigns and events and lead centralized execution.
  • Enable the organization, creating toolkits and solutions for external facing efforts.
  • Cultivate ongoing strategic messaging and technical alignment.
