Regional Lead, Google Cloud Consulting, Google Cloud (English, Korean)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in technology delivery, consulting, advisory or enterprise customer experience.
  • Experience in people management, including developing and leading customer experience teams.
  • Experience delivering cloud solutions and programs at a global level.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Experience growing and managing a professional services organization with industry presence.
  • Experience managing a software business and software solutions with ability to deliver to enterprise customers.
  • Experience building teams, and coaching and developing others.
  • Experience with software life-cycles, building tools, and architecting and developing software for distributed systems, including data platform, AI/ML and infrastructure.
  • Ability to develop and leverage executive relationships, along with excellent client management skills.

About the job

As the Cloud Consulting Regional Lead, you will provide business and technical leadership and build and foster a transformation-led and growth-oriented belief's, supported by operations and delivery engine.

In this role, you will lead all client-facing activities as Google Cloud engages with clients to design solutions and engage in all activities related to managing transitions, client-program-project on-boarding, engaging and partnering with specific functional and regional leaders at various points in the business cycle, with a view to create an excellent customer experience for clients within the region.

In addition, you will deploy a team of subject-matter-experts, Technical Account Managers, responsible for working alongside our customers to provide technical and solution advice to accelerate workload migration and remove technical impediments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an innovation framework to become a trusted advisor for executive clients, while drive global growth and program execution by creating go-to-market plans, delivering on implementation goals, and leveraging technology offerings.
  • Provide leadership for new business creation, managing budgets, analysis, and project delivery.
  • Align the organization on key success drivers and motivate stakeholders to achieve business unit goals.
  • Balance technical leadership with operational excellence, lead workload and opportunity review meetings with sales teams, and provide insight into how to achieve a technical agreement and migration strategy, working with customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Work with our Support and Engineering team to drive improved customer experience, resolve urgent technical blockers and advocate for product feature improvements.
