Sales Development Representative Intern, Google Public Sector, Summer 2026

This internship is intended for students in their penultimate academic year, who are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or post secondary or training experience with a focus on subjects in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Experience with business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Experience in sales development and relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12-14 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Experience in an external or internal customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate an ambiguous environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $58,000-$74,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Support pipeline development by conducting research, identifying potential opportunities, and contributing to outbound activities in collaboration with Field Sales Representatives (FSR).
  • Assist in the development and execution of aimed campaigns, leveraging resources from Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to drive awareness and engagement within specific customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts, including technical and business decision-makers.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and best practices across all campaigns.
