Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 3 years of experience in cost benchmarking, contract management, commercial agreements, account management, expense management, financial analysis, and invoicing policies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to think globally and strategically, influence change across a technical organization, navigate priorities/needs, and deliver solutions.
- Ability to build relationships and work well within the team, as well as with cross-functional teams (e.g., Global Networking Negotiators, Technical Project Managers, Finance, Accounting, etc.).

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
The Global Infrastructure and Energy organization is responsible to deliver the infrastructure to host and connect every machine and every user on the internet, with Carbon Free Energy (CFE). As part of the Commercial Operations arm within the Global Operations for Assets and Tooling team, you will be responsible to help the negotiators land agreements quickly and be able to maximize our returns.

We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and integrate a standardized, framework for tracking commercial commitments across various agreement types to business approvals, ensuring real-time visibility for stakeholders and establishing audit-ready documentation for post-launch compliance verification.
- Partner with technical and delivery teams to define, document, and standardize business processes for new product, agreement types and commercial structures.
- Identify operational gaps and bottlenecks in existing processes when applied to new product areas and develop solutions to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable commercialization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to aggregate and synthesize commercial and operational data, architect and maintain a centralized Cost Library for accurate unit cost breakdowns.
- Translate defined commercial processes and commitment tracking needs into clear requirements for the internal tooling team, then collaborate to design, configure, test, and deploy system customizations and enhancements that support new commercial workflows.
