Google has had a data center presence in the Atlanta region since 2003. Over the years, we've invested over $1.2 billion in Douglas County. Now a fully operational site, we've created over 350 jobs in Georgia, and we work hard to support the communities in which our employees live and work.
Since 2011, we've awarded more than $7.5 million to Georgia nonprofits and schools. Our employees are active volunteers in the community. Additionally, we've designed an innovative reuse water system to use recycled water for 100% of our cooling needs.
