As per latest news on NID exam pattern 2024, DAT Prelims paper pattern has been changed. The proportion of drawing section has been increased, while aptitude section has been decreased. DAT Prelims is a paper-and-pencil/pen test, featuring text and visuals. On the other hand, NID 2024 exam pattern for Mains includes drawing, making models, talking in groups and giving presentations. NID total marks are 100. Moreover, total NID marks for Aptitude and Drawing sections were 25 and 75 respectively. As per the NID DAT exam pattern 2024 prelims, the DAT Prelims exam questions consist of two sections - subjective type questions and objective type questions. The NID paper pattern for B.Des, which follows the Nid dat exam pattern 2024 prelims, is designed to test the candidates’ aptitude for design, creativity, observation, and communication skills. NID DAT Mains Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates who are interested in appearing in the mains exam must clear the NID DAT Mains exam. NID DAT Mains exam is conducted on an offline basis. NID DAT Mains exam is usually conducted at NID campuses in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Assam. The second stage of NID DAT 2024 is a studio test which will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Gandhinagar as per the nid paper pattern. Candidates will have to appear for a studio test followed by a personal interview round at the allotted campus.

Marking Scheme for NID DAT Prelims 2024
As per NID exam pattern 2024, the weightage of Part I of the NID DAT Prelims is 30 marks and Part II of the exam is 70 marks. The Mark scheme for NID DAT Prelims varies slightly every year. Guidelines for filling the OMR sheets for NID DAT Prelims 2024
Candidates should fill out the OMR sheets carefully as they will be evaluated digitally. Following are the instructions for filling out the OMR sheet.
Each MCQ question will have four options. Candidates should mark the correct option by blackening the corresponding oval on the OMR sheet using a blue or black ballpoint pen only.
Candidates should darken only one oval for each question. Candidates should note that marking more than one oval is considered an incorrect answer.
Aspirants can check the correct method of darkening the oval on the 1st page of the OMR answer sheet. Candidates must follow the specified procedure while filling the oval.
Candidates are restricted from tearing, mutilating or bending the OMR answer sheet.

NID DAT Mains Exam Pattern for M.Des
The NID DAT MDes Prelims exam consists of a Common Design Aptitude Test (CDAT) and a discipline-specific test. Candidates will be given admission based on their performance in both exams.
Candidates applying for only one discipline need to appear for NID DAT Prelims consisting of CDAT and discipline-specific tests. The total duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. However, candidates applying for two disciplines need to appear for the DAT prelims exam consisting of CDAT and two discipline-specific tests. The duration of the exam is 4.5 hours (30 minutes for CDAT and 2 hours for each discipline-specific test).
The students who applied for MDes, have to participate in the DAT Mains which will comprise a Studio Test and an Interview. The Statement of Purpose (SoP) should contain a maximum of 100 words (each question) and the same will have to be uploaded as a single PDF file, not exceeding 2MB file size.

In India, there are many coaching programmes accessible, however in my opinion, creativity doesn't really blossom in a coaching programme.
The secret to passing NID, NIFT, and CEED is creativity; you may do this without depending on coaching sessions. I would advise going on a tour or travelling instead of paying hefty fees to teaching centres. If not, simply take in your surroundings. Every morning, take a stroll and study the textures and patterns of the surroundings. Try to observe and see things from your perspective wherever you go. Try to consider and analyse the issues!

You have a good chance of getting a National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. You have a good enough score for this college if we see last year cut off. But the cut-off changes every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the total aspirants who took the exam, the reservation, individual score of each person who took the exam. Nevertheless, you have a good chance of getting into this college as your score is good.
NID Design Aptitude Test generally recognized as NID DAT is a dual-level design entrance test that comprises a prelims exam and the main exam.
The entrance test is administered every year at the national level to assign students for B.Des and M.Des admission offered by NIDs campuses.
It is administered to evaluate candidates' proficiency, ability, and behavioural aptitudes. NID entry is a completely established aspirants' achievement in NID DAT.
The 4-years BDes programs are given at NID Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam and 2-years MDes programs are given at NID Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru.
