Oppo A9 (2020) is a mid-range phone from the Chinese manufacturer with the highlight of the handset being its quad-camera setup and massive 5000mAh battery among other features. The smartphone’s base 4GB+128GB RAM and internal storage variant costs Rs 16,990 while the 8GB+128GB variant comes at Rs 19,990. The device comes in two colour variants: Space Purple and Marine Green.
Oppo A9 measures 63.6mm x 75.6mm x 9.1mm (H x W x D) and weighs about 195 gm.
The smartphone features 6.5-inch multi-touch, capacitive display with a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels. It supports 16 million colors and has a screen ratio of 89 percent.
The display comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, the handset comes in 4GB or 8GB RAM options along with 128GB inbuilt storage. Oppo A9 (2020) runs Android 9 Pie-based ColourOS 6.0.1.
As mentioned above, the highlight of the smartphone is its quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera along with an 8MP (119-degree) ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP mono lens and 2MP portrait lens. The 48MP sensor has got f/1.8 aperture, the 8MP one has got f/2.25 aperture, the 2MP one comes with f/2.4 aperture and the other 2MP one has also got the same f/2.4 aperture.
There’s a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. The device also has been given an Ultra Night 2.0 feature for better low light photography. As far as taking videos is concerned, the front camera can record in 1080P/720P@30fps while the rear camera supports video recording up to 4K@30fps, 1080P@30fps and 720P@30fps.
In addition to supporting Dolby Atmos audio tech, the smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery. There is only one internal storage option: 128GB.
