Panty-sniffing super caught on video lucks out with no-jail plea

The former building super caught on surveillance video sneaking into a tenant’s apartment to sniff her underwear was sentenced Wednesday to 300 hours of community service as part of a plea deal.

Jose Cedillo, 32, previously copped to attempted burglary as a sexually motivated felony in exchange for a no-jail sentence. He must also register as a level-1 sex offender.

Victim Ashley Chase used an iPhone app to capture Cedillo enter her East 55th Street pad on Sept. 4.

The perverted super flipped on the lights, disappeared from view for six minutes then reappeared holding a pair of Chase’s Victoria’s Secret panties to his face as he inhaled deeply, Chase told the Post.

Chase first suspected there was something amiss when she returned from a weekend trip and couldn’t find a purple lace bra. Then her undergarments continued to vanish.

The Manhattan financial analyst borrowed an old iPhone, installed an app that activates the camera when it detects motion and hid it on a table angled toward her front door.

Ten minutes after she exited the building, she remotely viewed the real-time video of her creepy super enter her $1,875-a-month studio and called cops.
