EU countries have agreed to purchase $1.5 billion worth of shells for Ukraine - Bloomberg

It is obvious that the EU cannot quickly provide Ukraine with the necessary amount of ammunition, so at the meeting in Paris they decided to buy from other manufacturers.

Even French President Emmanuel Macron, who had previously lobbied for the use of EU money exclusively for purchases in European factories, supported the Czech proposal.

Ukraine can receive about 800,000 shells in a few weeks.
