Houston Texans Dismiss Multiple Employees

Late last week, the Texans fired their director of football administration, Kevin Krajcovic, equipment manager Mike Parson and his staff, along with director of practice facility development and special projects Doug West.

These are all members of the previous regime, which means they are part of Nick Caserio’s purge to build his own staff and get his guys in the building. This probably falls in line with some thinking like, “We have to build that wall from the equipment room to the very top,” or “We are only as strong as our weakest link, or “There needs to be more servant leadership in this building.”

That being said, everyone had nothing but good things to say about those who had recently been dismissed. From J.J. Watt to Brandon Weeden, no one is happy to see these gentlemen out of work.

As reported by Adam Schefter, Deshaun Watson was friends with Parson.

Parson was said to have a close relationship with Watson, and these changes aren’t sitting well with players.

One player privately commented to ESPN that the Texans are weeding out employees who were not hired by executive vice president Jack Easterby and new general manager Nick Caserio, replacing them with employees who will be indebted to them for their work.

These changes are not expected to help the situation with Watson.

Hopefully those recently fired by the Texans bounce back somewhere else. Really, when you think about it, they are probably better off not having to stick around NRG Park. Hopefully, this doesn’t further disgruntle the already disgruntled members of the organization.

The newest era of Houston Texans football is already off to a miserable start, a continuation of its mostly miserable past.
