Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour Hits $200 Million Earned

Bruno Mars' 24K Magic World Tour reaches $200 million earned since its launch in the spring of 2017.

Bruno Mars leads the pack on the weekly recap of top-grossing Hot Tours (see list below) with sales reported from the final 2017 leg of his 24K Magic World Tour that began in the spring of last year. The singer played 10 shows in Latin American markets during November and December to close out the tour for the year, grossing $37.4 million from 408,443 tickets sold.

The ongoing trek in support of his November 2016 release 24K Magic kicked off with a European leg that ran from March 28 until mid-June. A stretch through North American cities began in July and culminated with a four-night stint in Los Angeles in November.

The Latin American run launched in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 18 and continued through Dec. 7, stopping at venues in seven countries. In two cities, Mars played for two nights — first at Rio’s Praça da Apoteose to kick off the run, and then on Nov. 22 and 23 in São Paulo at Estádio do Morumbi. Los Angeles-based band DNCE opened all the shows on the Latin jaunt.

Aside from a handful of appearances in the Americas, Mars’ 2018 itinerary will include treks to Australia and New Zealand in March followed by an Asian leg in April and May. A final run of shows is set for June and July in European markets including a host of festival appearances. The tour is set to wrap at the British Summer Time Festival at London’s Hyde Park on July 14.
