Emery is reportedly keen to provide quality competition for first-choice attackers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Moraes is under contract with the Jupiler League club until 2023, but Bruges could nevertheless cash in on the interest in their in-form attacker.

They signed the South American from Slovakian club AS Trencin in January 2016 for just £900,000, and would net a huge profit by flogging their man to the Premier League, Serie A or La Liga.

He has scored 10 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions this season, twice in the Champions League including during their 4-0 win at Monaco.

Moraes has seven goals in the league this campaign, with Bruges in second place, four points off leaders Genk.
