Britney Spears did her best to move past the rivalry with her conservator father as she took a trip to Santa Barbara, California, on Monday.

The 38-year-old pop singer was accompanied by her boyfriend Sam Asghari as they arrived at the swanky Four Seasons resort.

Britney put on a busty display in her plunging pale pink dress, which was covered in a floral pattern and featured a ruffled collar.

She mixed the knee-length dress with a casual pair of brown sandals, and she spiced up her look with a black choker. 

The Toxic singer blocked out the afternoon sun with her aviator sunglasses, and she wore her blonde locks tied back in a messy bun.

She clutched two books that she brought along for the trip, including Kimery Martin's acclaimed novel The Queen Of Hearts.

The couple looked as if they'd made the hour-long drive to the coastal Southern California city from her home in Thousand Oaks.

After another person asked if his grandfather was a 'jerk,' he said, 'Yeah, he’s a pretty big d***. He’s pretty f***ing gay as s***. He can go die.'

Jayden went on to praise his father Kevin Federline, whom he called 'literally Jesus.'

He also had kind things to say about Sam and his grandmother Lynn Spears. 

Jayden disputed allegations that Britney's social media was run by a team of overseers, though he offered to reveal more details about her life if he reached 5,000 followers.

Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan downplayed the video in a statement to Page Six on Wednesday.

'It’s the result of a 13-year-old acting like a 13-year-old,' said the family law attorney. 'Kevin is handling it like a responsible parent.'

Britney also shares 14-year-old Sean Federline with her ex-husband, whom she filed for divorce from in November 2006.

Earlier this week, sources told Us Weekly that she was upset about a new custody arrangement with Kevin. The couple previously had a 50–50 distribution, which was changed to 70–30 in his favor.

'Britney hasn’t been spending time with her dad, and very much remains angry that she doesn’t have the boys as much as she did in the past,' the source said. 'Jamie worries about her not having a set schedule for work that keeps her busy.'

The Stronger singer's father Jamie has been her conservator since 2008. He was briefly removed from the role late last year, but he regained control of her finances and personal affairs in January.
