Parth Samthaan and Vikas Gupta were in a relationship, reveals common friend Ekta Kapoor
Kaisi Hai Yaariyan actor Parth Samthaan had accused producer Vikas Gupta of molestation, but their common friend Ekta Kapoor says the two were in a relationship.
While an ugly legal battle is going on between Kaisi Hai Yaariyan actor Parth Samthaan and the show's producer Vikas Gupta, over Parth accusing the latter of molestation, their common friend Ekta Kapoor has dropped a bomb by saying that the two were actually in a relationship and in fact the duo holidayed in Bangkok after the alleged molestation.
"Vikas and Parth were close to each other and were in a relationship. Parth has accused Vikas of touching him inappropriately on December 7, 2013 and 20 days later, he was with Vikas holidaying in Bangkok! I know because I was also there to bring in the New Year. I have seen several videos of him professing his love for Vikas," the television czarina told DNA.
According to reports, Parth had sent a legal notice to Vikas Gupta in December, over molestation charges, non-payment of dues and the fact that Vikas was allegedly 'threatening to ruin his career'. The actor has also lodged a complaint at the Versova Police Station and given a statement, as per a TOI report. Also read: Parth accuses Vikas of molestation
"Vikas hasn't cleared my dues of Rs 5,50,000 for Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, a show that I did with him. In fact, he has been asking me to cough up a ransom of Rs 50,00,000. He has also threatened to ruin my career. I have also informed the cops about the same. I have nothing against him except for the fact that he hasn't cleared my dues. We were good friends. He has also helped me in my career and I will be always thankful to him. But my hard work can't be discounted," the actor had told TOI.
Parth and Vikas have worked together on several shows like Gumraah, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Kaisi Ye Yaariyan.
"The reason Parth has become bitter towards Vikas, who gave him a break in his TV show, is because the relationship came to an end. But he seems to have forgotten that he has a career thanks to Vikas, who groomed him and presented him. They were together for over three years. It's very convenient to turn around and accuse your lover of being a molestor/rapist. You see starlets doing it all the time. Now male actors seem to have started using this tactic as well," a source told DNA.
