Ole Gunnar Solskjaer outlines Man Utd spending plans this summer

Man Utd could still land Champions League football this season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep building at Old Trafford and anticipates more arrivals in the transfer market

SOLSKJAER DELIGHTED TO TIE MCTOMINAY DOWN WITH LONG-TERM DEAL

Manchester United will look to do business this summer if the right player becomes available for the right price says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils boss has been at the helm for 18 months and overseen one summer transfer window.

United spent close to £150m on three players and, despite the financial affects of the coronavirus, the Norwegian believes they may have to invest again.

Solskjaer set out a clear recruitment policy and he could still guide the club to the Champions League.

But they remain miles off the levels set by arch rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.

Nevertheless they remain a draw for players and have been linked with the likes of Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish.

And Solskjaer wants to continue improving his squad as they target a return to the summit of English football.

"Manchester City and Liverpool, the last couple of seasons, have put the standard where it should be to win the league," said the United boss.
