An airline passenger boldly wore all of her clothes on a flight after check-in staff told her that her suitcase was too heavy.
Gel Rodriguez refused to pay an excess baggage fee, so she opened up her hand luggage and began putting on layers before boarding the jet.
By the time she was finished she had put on an extra 2.5kg (5.5lbs) of clothing and was "really hot", wearing at least three pairs of trousers or shorts, five shirts and three jackets.
A hilarious photo of Ms Rodriguez showing off her layers while posing in the arrivals hall has gone viral on Facebook , where it was shared 19,000 times and users hailed her for the money-saving stunt.
Check-in staff had told her that her suitcase weighed 9kg (almost 20lbs) and it exceeded the 7kg (15.4lbs) limit.
But by wearing all of her clothes she brought it down to 6.5kg (143lbs), just under the limit.
The passenger, from Davao City in the Philippines, wrote: "When the airline staff at the check in counter said: 'EXCESS NA PO KAYO, 7kg lang po allowed na hand carry.'
"Me: NO PROBLEM!
"From 9kg to 6.5kg baggage #ExcessBaggageChallengeAccepted."
Ms Rodriguez says she was able to board the flight after putting on the layers.
She later told Vice: "I didn't want to pay the fee for the excess baggage because it was only two kilograms (4.4lbs)."
She was stunned when the post went viral.
The blogger joked: "If I had known it would go viral, I would have posed better."
She admitted she woudn't attempt the stunt again and suggested others shouldn't try it.
She said: "Maybe not. It was really hot. I don't recommend other people do it."
There have been a number of similar incidents in recent years, but some passengers have been blocked from boarding while wearing multiple layers to avoid baggage fees.
