Usman vs. Burns took place Feb. 13 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kamaru Usman (18-1) and Gilbert Burns (18-4) collided in a welterweight title contest in the night’s main event, which aired live on ESPN+ pay-per-view. Catch more video highlights below.

First round: Burns charges across and takes the center immediately. He’s got Usman backed up to the fence very early. Back at space and BURNS LANDS AN OVERHAND RIGHT THAT DROPS USMAN! USMAN IS BACK UP BUT HE’S CLEARLY HURT. BURNS THROWS ANOTHER THAT LANDS! THIS IS MADNESS!

Usman working a jab to clear space and recover. Another right hand from Burns but Usman appears to be better now. Burns throws a high kick that but Usman trips him down and now Burns is in butt scoot and Usman is standing over and using this time to clear his head. Wow. What a start!

Usman is still standing over Burns but he’s not willing to go down there into the guard. Now Usman lands a big punch to the body that has Burns looking to stand. A number of kicks to the leg from Usman make Burns uncomfortable there and he’s up now but Usman clinches him. Usman ducks under but a knee from Burns lands and now they’re in space again.

Strong low kick from the champ. And a body kick. And he’s pumping the jab much better now. Burn’s is landing power hooks though and it’s clear the speed is bothering the champion. He goes back to that jab though and it’s starting to pay dividends. Burns can’t figure it out.

Burns shoots a takedown that is stuffed but as he gets up he throws a head kick that gets blocked. Big right hook from Burns lands but the jab is still coming heavy from Usman and you have to wonder if Burns can keep this pace up.

Second round: Usman’s corner calls for more jabs and it appears they were expecting a quick start from the challenger. And Usman obliges, working the jab early and often to start the round. Burns is still throwing heavy power shots and he has the speed edge but Usman appears to be seeing things better now.

After eating a few more shots from Burns, Usman is now the one controlling the center but eats an overhand right that has Usman stunned a bit. Burns is now looking to parry the jab of Usman as well.

Power jab from Usman backs Burns up and a huge right hand from the champion drops Burns! BURNS IS IN FULL RETREAT MODE AND USMAN SMELLS BLOOD. JABS SETTING UP BIG OVERHANDS ARE CLUBBING BURNS WHO IS NOW AGAINST THE FENCE AND CLEARLY HURT!

Burns has survived but the momentum has entirely swing now! Usman’s jab is marking Burns up and he’s following it up with big shots that are getting Burn’s respect.

A counter jab from Usman drops Burns! Back to the butt scoot for the challenger but Usman isn’t playing that game and let’s him up. This is a fight!

Usman is looking clear-eyed and Burns is looking a little tired but he’s recovered from the shots at least. Usman working steadily now and he stuffs a shot from Burns. More jabs as the round ends.

Third round: Burns using the break to recompose himself but he also needs to figure out an answer to the jab because it’s ruining his evening.

The third starts with Burns once again advancing but Usman drops him with a power jab again! Now Usman follows him down and he’s raining big shots! Burns is moving on the floor but he’s compromised! More shots from Usman and Burns is in a world of trouble! Herb Dean jumps in to save Burns! Usman retains!!
