Who is Elseid Hysaj?

27-year-old Elseid Hysaj plies his trade at Napoli.

The Albanian star can play on the left or right of defence and even as a wide midfielder.

He was deployed most frequently on the left of the defence this season but throughout his career he’s spent more time on the right.

The Napoli man’s contract expires this summer and he is thought to not be short of suitors.

Neco Williams loan offers

This summer could see a vital loan move for Neco Williams.

According to TeamTalk, Norwich and Burnley have made offers for the Welshman.

The wonderkid has impressed during his sporadic appearances in the first team.

Though he hasn’t been perfect he has shown more than a few glimpses of his undeniable potential.

Furthermore, he has consistently stood out when starting for Wales.

A loan move could be vital for the young man’s development, he isn’t going to oust Trent Alexander-Arnold any time soon.

Liverpool should move for Elseid Hysaj

In 2018 the Reds were linked with a £45m swoop for Napoli’s defender with Alfredo Pedulla reporting we were willing to pay his release clause.

Now that he’s available on a free, Liverpool should consider snapping Elseid Hysaj up.

His arrival would provide further cover to both full back positions and would allow Neco Williams to head out for some first team experience.
