A Colorado man says he was slashed after an anti-fascist mistakenly identified him as a neo-Nazi, because of his haircut.
Joshua Witt, 26, took to his Facebook page to post about the frightening incident in Sheridan, and says he's luck to be alive.
He says he has no tattoos or anything else that would indicate he's a neo-Nazi, but says his friends have explained, it's his haircut.
Witt's cut is similar to what people have identified as the neo-Nazi cut after countless images have flashed on TV and online from the deadly Charlottesville, Virginia protests. His cut is long-on-top, buzzed-on-the-sides.

Witt wrote 'Sooooooo apparently I look like a neo-nazi and got stabbed for it... luckily I put my hands up to stop it so he only stabbed my hand.'
The assailant, Witt says, was looking to do much more damage.
'I'm just glad I have good reflexes and at least put my hands up cause the dude was aiming for my head.'

Witt, whose Facebook says he's a boatswain's mate for the Navy, heard the alleged assailant say; 'You one of them neo-Nazis?'
The confrontation turned bloody in a matter of seconds. Witt says 'As the dude was swinging a small pocket knife over my car door, then he took off running and I was just sitting there in shock.'
'What the heck dude I have no tattoos that would indicate anything like that. There is nothing on the car that I am aware of that might suggest it. My head is not shaved.'
Witt replied to a Facebook friend expressing concern: 'I just don't understand this world anymore lol people are crazy.'
He also said the police are looking for the suspect, he filed a report immediately.
