Professor Sahar Amer, Department of History, UNC-CH, challenged her students to wear the veil for one day. Each student created dual photographs, one in hijab, one self-portrait, and then wrote about their projects. “In This Skin” features these images and words. At the opening, Professor Amer and her students will discuss veiling and the exhibit. We are all a lot more than we wear. Free and open to the public.
