The symposium will feature 1) presentations on Emergency Medicine as a career, 2) clinical skills workshops on ultrasound, suturing, codes & arrhythmias, and airway management, 3) an EM residency panel featuring representatives from local residency programs, and 4) a clinical case simulation competition with teams from each medical school.
The symposium will be a great way for medical students to explore the field of Emergency Medicine and interact with colleagues from the Philadelphia area. A light breakfast will be at 7:30 and lunch will be also served.

Clinical Case Simulation Competition:
Each medical school is invited to enter one team of three medical students into the clinical case simulation competition. The competition will begin after lunch and will be held in the Simulation Center at Temple University School of Medicine. The student teams will be evaluated on their communication, teamwork and clinical management skills.
