TradeJustice activists plan to attend the event and pose questions that expose why TPP and the Korea FTA are bad deals for the 99% - limiting access to lifesaving generic drugs; outsourcing good-paying union jobs to sweatshops; giving corporations the right to attack our environmental laws in international tribunals; replacing family farms with corporate GMO plantations and polluting, inhumane factory farms; limiting internet freedom; displacing indigenous communities; putting endangered wildlife and ecosystems at risk by expanding resource extraction; and lowering food safety standards!
We'll be meeting up in advance at a nearby cafe to prepare and distribute questions (you don't need to have prior knowledge of the issue to participate), so if you'd like to come, please call us to RSVP so we can give you the details of where we'll be meeting. If you're
unable to meet in advance, but can come to the event itself (11:30AM registration, noon start time), let us know in advance and we'll help you prepare a question that you can bring with you. It's also be good to have someone to record with something subtle like a good cell phone camera, so if you have one, please come!
Call Adam at (718) 218-4523 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP or if you have any questions.
