The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum begins its 20th annual “Readings in the Gallery” series with a 6-part program featuring authors of poetry and literature. Readings will take place in the art gallery and are followed by a reception and book signing. Programs are free and handicapped accessible. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m., Poet Jerry Johnson, author of Up the Creek Without a Saddle, and musician Jon Gailmor will appear together as 16 of Mr. Johnson’s poems were set to music by troubadours Jon Gailmor and Pete Sutherland.
