Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, abbreviated as OCBC, is a Singaporean multinational banking and financial services corporation headquartered at the OCBC Centre. As of the end of 2024, it had S$625.1 billion in assets, making it the second largest bank in Southeast Asia by assets. Globally it operates over 400 branches and representative offices in 19 countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau under subsidiaries OCBC Bank Berhad, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk, OCBC China Limited, OCBC Bank Limited and OCBC Bank Limited respectively. OCBC is one of the world's most highly rated banks, with credit ratings of Aa1 from Moody's and AA from Standard & Poor's. The Asian Banker named OCBC as Singapore's strongest bank in 2018 and 2024. OCBC was awarded World's Best Bank in 2019 and was ranked amongst the top three "safest banks in the world" in 2022 by Global Finance magazine. OCBC's founding father – the late businessman and philanthropist Lee Kong Chian's family has been the largest shareholder for almost a century, holding a 28% stake in OCBC. Wikipedia
