Trex Company, Inc. is a manufacturer of wood-alternative composite decking, residential railing, and other outdoor items made from recycled materials. Its headquarters is in Winchester, Virginia. The company distributes its products through a network of more than 6,700 retail outlets across six continents. Trex composite decking products are made of up to 95% recycled materials. In redirecting more than 300 million pounds of plastic and scrap wood from landfills each year, Trex is one of the largest plastic film recyclers in North America.
