Sobre Unidad de fomento xilena
The Unidades de Fomento is a unit of account. It is a non-circulating currency; the exchange rate between the UF and the Chilean peso is constantly adjusted for inflation so that the purchasing power of the Unidad de Fomento remains almost constant on a daily basis during low inflation. It was created on 20 January 1967, for the use in determining the principal and interest in international secured loans for development, subject to revaluation according to inflation. Afterwards it was extended to all types of bank loans, private or special financing, purchases and investments on installments, contracts, and some special situations. It is also used in legal standards such as the par value of stock and capitalization of companies, and fines.
It has become the preferred and predominant measure to determine the cost of real estate, values of housing and any secured loan, either private or of the Chilean government. Individual payments are made in Chilean pesos, according to the daily value of the UF. El dinar algerià és la moneda d'Algèria. El codi ISO 4217 és DZD i l'abreviació és DA. Se subdivideix en 100 cèntims, si bé la fracció ja no s'utilitza.
Es va introduir el 1964 en substitució del nou franc, a raó d'un dinar per franc. És emès pel Banc d'Algèria.
En circulen monedes de 5, 10, 20, 50 i 100 dinars. A causa de la forta inflació, les monedes d'1 i 2 dinars pràcticament no s'utilitzen, mentre que les de ¼ i ½ dinar han desaparegut de la circulació. Tot i això, hom anomena els preus en cèntims; així, un preu de 100 dinars és anomenat, en àrab, عشر الاف, ʿaxr alf, això és, ‘deu mil’.
Els bitllets en circulació són els de 100, 200, 500 i 1.000 dinars. Wikipedia
