HP Enterprise Services LLC was an American multinational information technology equipment and services company headquartered in Plano, Texas. Founded in 1962 by Ross Perot, EDS was a subsidiary of GM from 1984 until it was spun-off in 1996. The company was acquired by HP in 2008 and rebranded as HPES in 2009.
