The Manila Electric Company, commonly referred to as Meralco, is the largest electric power distribution company in the Philippines. It is the sole electric power distributor in Metro Manila and holds the power distribution franchise for 39 cities and 72 municipalities, including all of Metro Manila and the exurbs that form Mega Manila.
