Schroders plc is a British multinational asset management company headquartered in London, England. Founded in 1804, it employs over 6,000 people worldwide in 38 locations around Europe, America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. It is traded on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. It is the 21st largest asset management firm in the world. Schroders bears the name of the Schröder family, a Hanseatic family of Hamburg with branches in other countries.
