SIL Open Font License, 1.1Patua One is a slab serif text type designed for use in small sizes. It has low contrast and strong serifs and is intended to generate visual impact. Its thick serifs are curved to provide it with a touch of smoothness and gesture.
One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked.
