Back in Dapper, I installed my HP Deskjet 3847 in Gnome and it was also installed in KDE. Now I'm in Hardy and tried the same thing. The printer installed in Gnome, but it won't print--the Print button is greyed out. I just emerged kde cups gimp gimp-print for amd64. When I click on the control center, peripherals, printers the add printer option is grayed out and cups does NOT show up in the drop down list in the lower rh corner. What have I missed? (
