    May 13, 2008 - I am needing to install the snap font by artwiz, and when i followed the directions in this guide: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-install-artwiz-fonts-in-ubuntu.html, and i select the font it shows up as nothing but blocks. All i have done besides this guide is placed the font in the fonts folder.

    May 11, 2012 - How are you attempting to install it? Did you double click the TTF, then "Install Font"? If so, did it seem to install without issue? Can you find the font in any of the folders where fonts are usually placed? (See "Fonts" on the Ubuntu Wiki). If you can't find the font there, try moving it there manually.

    I have moved the .pcf.gz to /usr/share/fonts/misc (which is in my xorg.conf), changed ownership to root and reloaded my font cache as per the fonts wiki, logged out and in and it still doesn't show up in xfontsel...
