The only problem is my first partition hda2 which gives a "Permissions Denied" error when I click on it even though I'm currently in root. When I put a cd-rom or dvd-rom with regular files burned to them (say mp3's for instance) I get an error that says "invalid filesystem type". The strange thing is if I put a cd-rom in the drive that is burned to .iso it can see the files. Any idea what is going on?Gentoo Forums :: View topic - Odd cdrom mount issue [SOLVED]

However if I open a console and mount from the command line I get no error and the cdrom gets mounted properly. Does anyone have any ... p.s. I'm also running KDE 3.5.5 from the ~x86 branch.
