Apr 27, 2010 - This will remove GRUB, restore the Windows bootloader and make Linux unbootable, but it will not remove Linux. If you don't have a Windows Recovery Console CD, you can make one (you'll need a functioning Windows computer with a CD burner and a blank CD) by downloading Artellos' Automated Recovery CD Creator (ARCDC).GRUB Error 18 - all of a sudden?! - Fedora Forum

I've been fooling around with linux this week and decided to try Ubuntu.Dl'd the live CD,tried it out and decided to install. SMooth install without a lot of choices to be made. I have a 30GB HD and it politely asked at one point about partitions. I let it do default which was 1 large partition and a swap area.[SOLVED] Grub error 18 - cannot boot to Windows / Newbie Corner ...

Earlier today I tried to install Arch 64bit (I had 32bit earlier) with kdemod to test new KDE4.2. However, after installation I could not boot neither Arch nor Windows. Grub appeared, but every single option gave me an error. I can't remember anymore which error it was, but It doesn't matter anymore. I thought I ...Problems with GRUB Error 18 - openSUSE Forums
