Hi! I've installed Arch on my netbook (EEE 1000HE), and it works great - but however, today, when I booted it up, I could see that in the boot process HAL fails to start. RHEL is getting stuck at the boot up process (screenshot attached), I can SSH in to the server though! Is the GUI ... Is the GUI crashing or where do I start debugging this please? .... (It's a Dell Inspiron 1520 with Jaunty on it, but I had this problem before I updated from 8.10) sometimes it doesn't boot. sometimes it boots fine, but other times it doesn't boot coorrectly. when it hangs it always hangs at about the same spot. most of the time it's on "Starting Hardware abstraction layer.
