After reinstalling Arch Linux nautilus now always open in the top left corner with a default size. Setting /apps/metacity/general/disable_workarounds to true doesn't change anything. In openSUSE 11.2 with GNOME is Nautilus not remembering window size. Everytime i open Nautilus, window size is back to default, no matter how big i set up that window...
