For about 2 to 3 weeks it sometimes happens, that the system cannot be shutdown. If I shutdwown from w/i KDE, the GUI is shut down and then the systems hangs in the console. Therefore it's also automatically logged in, as root. I recently switched this system from 2.4 to 2.6 and now the "shutdown -r now" command doesn't work. It says "initInit et /dev/initctl - Forum Linux / Unix - Comment Ça Marche
