    Very helpful responses to questions and good contact from nurse to review results. Woud have been 5 stars but for having to wait over a week for kit but it was over Easter. Also would have welcomed an easier way of getting drops of blood into the very small sample container! Had to use lancet 4 times till blood flowed sucessfully enough - fortunately plenty of lancets sent! Also good instructions

    I would highly recommend LetsGetChecked, specifically for sexual health testing. I searched online for private testing and LGC was the most cost-effective company. The layout of the website was really easy to understand. The sexual health tests provided are more extensive than what is routinely offered on the NHS. I received my parcel in discreet packaging very quickly. Inside the parcel, everything was included and clearly labelled. On the app, I had step-by-step instructions on how to take my samples and I felt confident I’d done everything correctly. I sent my package back same day as requested. The app updated once the lab had received my parcel and I got a phone call from the nurse 2 days later. The nurse I spoke to was amazing. I’m gutted I can’t remember her name! She explained every test result concisely and in full. She answered all my questions very well and told me exactly what I should do next in terms of notifying my GP. She was a great representative for the company and rounded off the pleasant experience I had with LGC. I would highly recommend the service.

    Below this update is the story around which I originally rated LetsGetChecked (only 2 stars!). Following my account and review, LGC immediately contacted me and I received what I consider to be the best customer service response I have ever experienced!! The lady who wrote to me was professional, empathetic, understanding, apologetic and genuinely wanted to make things right and she handled everything quickly and efficiently, without any need for me to follow up! My husband and I promptly received a full refund for our tests and were also each offered complementary tests. Despite best efforts, companies and their systems don't always get it right but full marks to LetsGetChecked for handling it brilliantly!! We will definitely use this organisation again in the future should we need their services! Well done guys and thank you for making good as far as you were able!! The Story: My husband and I had been visiting family in the US, flew to another state for a short visit before returning home and needed to provide negative Covid tests for our flight back to the UK. Three days before our flight we registered the tests (confirmation received via email), took the tests and shipped them UPS as required. The next day my husband received his test result but while mine appeared to have been processed, the result was not yet available. The next day (the day before our flight) my test status remained unchanged, so we called LetsGetChecked and spoke to a customer service rep. It seemed that there was an unidentifiable technical hitch with my registration (an IT problem) and the best suggestion offered by this person was to return to our hotel and try to sort it out on a laptop. This was our last day in a state we had never previously visited and a day we had set-aside for our only sightseeing activities. We returned to our hotel but, as expected, using the laptop did not resolve the issue. When we tried to call the customer service rep back to advise her that our attempts had failed, we heard a recording telling us the office was closed: this was at least an hour or more before the time at which we had been told their office would shut! My husband then called the LetsGetChecked phone number for the UK which resulted in our being put through to a second (US-based) customer service person, this time a lady who sounded understanding, sympathetic and determined to resolve the problem for us! She was successful and, after many hours I received an email telling me my test result was now available. As a result of LetsGetChecked's IT glitch my husband and I spent the entire last day of our trip sitting in our hotel room hoping that we would be able to get my test result in time to fly home the next day: we never got to do any sightseeing. This was a very stressful experience for us both. As a result of our experience I do not feel that I can recommend LetsGetChecked.

    I looked at a few different sites to order a "comprehensive" kit from, just for a self-check and peace of mind for myself and partner. LetsGetChecked had a good package and a good discount for a first order, compared to similar sites. It arrived in good time and had clear instructions. I had a test for blood and urine which can be done easily on your own. The estimated wait time for results was 2 to 5 days, however it was only around 30 hours after I posted the kit (free 1st class, even though I paid for tracked just to make sure it got there) for the results. Very quick. There is an App you download on your phone to go with the site (same name) which is very convenient to see the progress of your test/s. With these very sensitive/private tests you can access everything and create more orders on the App without contact of another human being. Although there would of course be someone to advise you if requested. Hopefully I won't need to or worry about taking more tests in the near future, but if I do, I have my previous record on the App and will continue to use LetsGetChecked.

    I used the COVID-19 PCR test. There were clear instructions for taking the swab, labelling the biohazard bag & posting in leaflet & video format but no instructions for timing of taking swab, allowing postal time & lab time for getting results back in time for travel!I contacted customer service who were helpful & reassuring! Also nowhere did it say/show to fill in the sample tube label which I decided was for lab use only - which is why I think my name was not on the lab report results -so I had to contact helpline again- it did get sorted, managed well, but it was stressful as I was flying the following day. The updated report wasn’t available through the LetsGetChecked App but eventually I found it through the previous email from the nurse & followed the link again- sending another email would have been simpler. The App needs some updating as I found I couldn’t change the date for when my test was expected in the lab either! Overall I found the kit easy to use & the Customer Helpline very efficient, helpful & professional!!!
