Dealing with Sofas & Stuff has been a very positive experience. We felt that it was necessary to have a showroom visit due to the fact I am recovering from knee surgery so had to make sure I could get up easily off whatever we bought! We were there 2 hours trying out sofas and making up our minds and staff were knowledgeable and patient and did not make us feel at all rushed into making a decision. We were given a delivery date and actually our order of 3 sofas was ready 3 weeks before the due date. The order was delivered by two very polite and respectful delivery men who went out of their way to ensure that the sofas were positioned exactly where we wanted them to and put them together and added cushions and removed all packaging and were happy to answer any questions we had. The order was exactly as we had expected and it was delivered within the time window we had been advised of. The sofas came with a stain removing kit and we were reminded to contact the company if for any reason a stain could not be removed by use of the kit. As we have only had the sofas 3 weeks I cannot comment on how they have worn over time but they appear very well made and have held their shape.

Ours was an excellent experience from start to finish. Cindy helped us with choosing our style of sofa: we thought we'd made that decision from the website but when we actually saw all the models in the showroom we realised that the style we thought we'd chosen wouldn't fit in our room, so back to the drawing board. We then had to decide on fabric and again Cindy organised samples, which came in the post remarkably quickly. So the sofa came, on schedule, and we're delighted with its looks and the comfort of it. Only after delivery did we realise we needed armcaps and Cindy ordered these for us. Here I have my only gripe: there was a 15% discount on the order but the £15 postage charge cancelled that out completely. £15 to post two pieces of fabric! Perhaps Sofas & Stuff could think about that? But all in all we've been impressed with both service and product and I've been telling my friends how good Sofas & Stuff are.

We thought long and hard about purchasing our Brunel sofa as they are at the top end of the pricing scale. We were helped a lot by Gabriella After receiving our sofa in time for Xmas it soon become clear that it was very uncomfortable. We persevered for 6 weeks but could no longer sit on it. We took the cushions back to sofas and stuff and it was agreed there was a problem with the cushions. Chinese feathers used due to bird flu in Britain. We quickly agreed replacement cushions. Again Gabriella helped us in choosing the right cushion filling for us. They were ordered the same day, were delivered a month later. All at no cost to us. We have now had these cushions for 6 or so weeks. They are much much better than the previous cushions but still not there yet. They are getting better. i.e settling in. But not quite super comfy yet. Plumping the cushions is essential so be prepared to do that as often as possible.

Shopping experience at Stroud was excellent with helpful and knowledgable staff team responsive to our preferences. Delivery experience was equally good, arriving within the promised timescale, delivered by polite and efficient staff in a company van who unpacked the sofas, placed them exactly where we wanted and took away the packaging. In summary, our experience from purchase to delivery was 5*. The sofas themselves however are disappointing. They look lovely and fit our room perfectly but sadly just aren’t comfortable. We follow the instructions for maintaining the cushion shape to the letter but the back cushions lose any shape and support as soon as we sit back on them until we buff them back into shape at the end of the day. The seat cushions are really too short and we feel the frame at the end of our thigh when we sit down. We hoped for better quality than DFS/SCS/Furniture Village type but sadly haven’t found that to be the case.

I am so impressed with your whole set up,we visited 2 stores both of which were lovely buildings with so many examples of every chair and sofa in such an array of available fabrics. The staff were so knowledgeable and so very nice and helpful and everything was clearly laid out and priced. The samples of fabrics available is vast but again cleverly laid out and priced so all is made very clear. The ordering service was simple and we were kept upto date with timings of delivery etc. Our sofa was actually ready before the said date which pleased me enormously and delivery was well set up,smooth and friendly. I really cannot recommend your company highly enough and I am absolutely thrilled with the look,feel ,comfort and quality of my sofa. Thank you
