It’s summer time and pests love warmer weather. If you’ve noticed white fuzzy spots on your plant, you may have a mealybug infestation. Here’s how to treat it: 1. Quarantine plant 2. Cut back excess dead foliage 3. Spray with a 3:1 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol (and a couple drops of dish soap) 4. Remove pests from leaves with cotton balls, swabs, or microfiber towels or gloves. Wash towels and gloves after! 5. Dry the leaves and repeat weekly as needed. 6. Neem oil is great to prevent future pests! #houseplanttips #mealybugs #plantcare #plantpests
