Customer service was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable & funny. Patient. I received their Men’s Jackson Quick-Dry Drawstring Pants size XL 30 long. I am never taking these off. I am told they run a little large. Fortunately, so do I. On sale for over 50% off. Cons: no fly. Drawstring only. No belt loops. Only light tan color. As soon as I order 3 more pair, I'll complain about the cons.

As a loyal Orvis customer, I've purchased quite a bit of clothing and Orvis rods over the years. I felt the quality was there and customer service was on top of it. The latter seems to have diminished substantially. I ordered a shirt for my brother for his birthday. I waited patiently for the package to arrive....however instead of receiving a package, I was emailed the " dear customer" letter stating that the item was no longer available. I had ordered this a week prior and nothing. So I now get a whopping 20% coupon because Orvis goofed. Big deal. I get coupons in the mail once a month for 25% off. I've always been a big orvis fan but my allegiance to another clothing line like Simms or Huk may be on the cusp. Obviously the item was oversold yet nobody seemed to figure this out until it was too late and customers were screwed.

Ordering from Orvis is a pretty great experience. I absolutely love the ease of the chat function. It is so easy to reach out to an Orvis representative and ask a few questions. I will say that I wish the representatives used a bit more explanation in their answers. For example, I am new to fly fishing so I asked a question about which fly line would be best for an application. The representative answered and said I wanted a specific line but didn't go into an explanation of why. I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation. However, regardless the buying process with Orvis is incredibly smooth and I am a big fan of your products. I recommend to everyone to go with Orvis. You can get a high quality product that will last for years to come.

I have always loved the dog leashes from Orvis. This dog Leash is horrible!! I almost lost my dog that i just adopted because the way the clip at the end is made. It opens with a slight tug from a dog. Never purchasing anything from orvis again. The quality is obviously not there anymore!

Almost $500 for a bed that was shoved down in a box that was partially open. Dog bed was not in plastic nor did it have any tags on it, nothing to suggest it was “new”. And the dirt and dog hair on it would suggest that I received someone else’s return. Disgusting.
