We visited @sakestudio.tokyo in Tokyo 🍶 They offer an English sake omakase tasting course perfect for beginners and serious sake geeks alike. Sake expert Aaron always brings a new sake experience with every tasting. Places that teach the joy of sake through real experiences like this are rare. Definitely check it out!

Most people outside Japan don’t even know this day exists😏 Once a year, on the first day of spring in Japan’s traditional calendar, breweries press a batch of sake early in the morning. A Shinto priest comes to the brewery to bless it, and then the bottles go straight to sake shops the same day. Which means, you can drink sake that was pressed just hours earlier!!!😳✨💦 It’s called Risshun Asashibori (立春朝搾り)🍶 Fresh, vibrant, and super pure — honestly one of my favorite moments of the year as a professional drinker. If you ever visit Japan in early February and see this label, don’t miss it. Buddy, would you try sake pressed the same day it was made?❤️ Filmed at my fav sake shop’s @mimasusaketenn ❤️

Hot sake or cold sake? There are a lot of opinions — and that’s the fun of sake. Warm or hot sake can bring out a totally different side of sake. In general, Junmai, Honjozo, dry, and aged styles work great warm or hot. On the other hand, fresh, fruity, delicate styles are usually better cold. That said, the best temperature depends on the sake. Hot, warm, body temp, or cold — changing the temperature can open up a whole new world. If you drink sake at home, try playing with temperature. You might be surprised. Tell me your hot sake tips 😘🍶 🍶Fuyu Sake Week 2026!☃️ “Fuyu” means winter, and this collection is filled with sake for the perfect cold-weather pour. Meet my newborn baby: Shinshu (new sake)👶🍶 Freshly brewed sake made this winter only. You can drink sake all year, but sake actually has a season. Rice is harvested in fall → the very first sake is ready in winter. That fresh, juicy, alive feeling? That’s Shinshu. That’s why winter sake hits different. And no — this isn’t just Japan. It’s Fuyu Sake season right now in the US too ❄️🍶 What do YOU drink in winter? 🍶Fuyu Sake Week 2026!☃️ “Fuyu” means winter, and this collection is filled with sake for the perfect cold-weather pour.
