  The shutters themselves were perfect. Exactly what we ordered and I was highly impressed. However the delivery company was another matter. Why you would use a low-rent company like Estes Express for the shipping of your high end product I have no idea. It really diminishes the experience. The driver did not feel confident backing his truck into the driveway so he left it on the busy street. The truck had been packed so poorly he had to take two pallets off the truck before he could get to ours and then he still said he couldn't get our pallet out. He had to call his dispatch and they were yelling at him and then me that it was CURB ONLY!! I finally ended up unloading the shutters myself, all ten, going into and out of his truck ten times on the lift at the back (I am a 60 yr old woman!) He said he would get into trouble for that but he didn't have any other way to do it so c'est la vie! Don't use them - they damage your brand!

  When we needed to replace the wooden shutters on our circa 1793 cape cod style home, we chose ShutterLand. We chose the yellow pine, factory painted black shutters. They arrived flawlessly shipped a with ample protection in each box. Beautifully finished I installed historic black cast iron hardware and mounted them on our home. One observation is the painted felt ‘soft’ as if it still needed to dry thoroughly making it easy to scuff. That said the order included a bottle of touch up paint which was great for small touch ups. Also, the team at ShutterLand were very responsive to my questions. We’re very pleased with our purchase and found ShutterLand a great value for the quality of their shutters. Thank You!

  I purchased Red Grandis, louvered, exterior shutters for my home in Boston in 2025. I requested 1.5" tails be added to the bottom of each shutter. The entire process was seamless. Shutterland customer service and support is terrific. They helped to determine which of the wood types would serve me best in the New England climate. The shutters arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. I had them painted and hung on my home and couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is amazing. This is a fine business that cares about its customers and delivers and exceptional product.

  We placed a large order of 18 cedar shutters that were 101 inches tall. The build and craftsmanship of each shutter was outstanding and exactly to our specs. Superior shutters. The only issue was that the shutters were painted black per our order and did not dry enough before the company packed them together and shipped. As we pulled the shutters apart from the crate, most of the shutters stuck together and paint pulled off. The company did provide touch up paint which we used to touch up about every shutter. More drying time would be better. And would really like a few more emails from the company letting us know of progress. We got just one email,saying the shutters had shipped. The email came to us a sours before they were being delivered to us by the last mile delivery company. Good thing we were already in contact with the delivery company. Overall, a superior shutter build. Beautiful hand crafted shutters! Just need a few minor operational improvements to be an outstanding company.

  I am very glad that we placed our order for PVC shutters with ShutterLand. We chose ShutterLand's louvered PVC product because we wanted historically authentic shutters without the maintenance/issues of wood for our 1948 cape code home. They fabricated the shutters while keeping us posted throughout the process with same-day responses whenever I had questions. The shutters are great and when we noted a paint-related question, ShutterLand responded immediately and resolved it beyond our expectations. We plan to use ShutterLand for future projects. - Jeff
