Men's Golf 
Last time the Wildcats were out, they played in the Davenport Panther Invitational, where they took home a huge win. This marks the first GLIAC event win for the team since the 2015 fall season, with their second day score of 284 in 18-holes was the best in program history. Both teams are in Sheboygan, Wisconsin this week for rounds on Monday and Tuesday. 

Women's Soccer
Sitting at No. 14, Northern Michigan concluded its road trip with crucial wins against Purdue Northwest and Wisconsin Parkside. The Wildcats bested Purdue Northwest 1-0, with four shots and three on goal being made by Madison Bilbia. NMU then earned a shutout win against Parkside with a score of 3-0. The goals coming from Madison Bilbia, Molly Pistorious, and Allison Kroll. This marked Pistorious' 10th goal of the season along with the team's fourth straight win. Now sitting at 7-1-3 in the GLIAC, the Wildcats will return home for matches against Saginaw Valley on Friday and Ferris State on Sunday. Goalkeeper Jillian Thompson broke the record for the most shutouts in a season with 10. The last time the 'Cats matched up with the Saginaw Valley Cardinals, they fell 1-0. As for its match against the Ferris State Bulldogs, the team came home with a 2-1 win with goals being made by Stephanie Trujillo and Maria Storm earlier this season. 

Men's and Women's Swim and Dive
The swim and dive team started its season with home opener wins against St. Cloud, 281-199, and Davenport, 326.50-140.50. Leo Nolles broke the first pool record of the season in the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 20.49. The team heads out on their first road trip of the season where they take on Saginaw Valley State and Findlay on Friday and Grand Valley State on Sunday. 

Volleyball
The Wildcats found a split in their recent road trip with a 3-0 loss against Wayne State and 3-0 win against Saginaw Valley. In the match against Wayne State, the team fell with scores of 21-25, 19-25, and 12-25. As for the match against Saginaw Valley, they outscored the Cardinals 25-23, 25-10, and 25-18, and earned the team a season-high of 15 aces. NMU will continue to hit the road for the second straight weekend with contests against Grand Valley State University on Friday and Davenport University on Saturday. 

Hockey
Northern Michigan remained on the road for games against the Arizona State Sun Devils, falling short with scores of 3-2 on night one, and 5-1 on night two. Leading the Wildcats to an overall score of 0-3-1 to kick off the season. Tanner Latsch continued his point streak to four games when he netted two goals over the weekend, putting him at a total of seven this season with six on power plays. Josh Zinger also extended his point streak to four with his six assists throughout the season. Northern will return to Marquette for its home opener against the Ferris State Bulldogs on Friday and Saturday. 

Football
Northern fell to No. 2 Grand Valley State Lakers, 73-14, with touchdowns made by Charlie Gerhard and Brock Franklin. The Wildcats will celebrate Family Weekend and Youth Sports Day on Saturday as they host Wayne State University. 

Men's Soccer
The Wildcats drew 2-2 in their match against the St. Cloud State Huskies. The 'Cats first goal of the game came from Casey Miller and the second being made by Finn van den Berg, these being both of their first goals of the season. The team will hit the road for the GLIAC tournament at Davenport University on Sunday.
