Transparent frogs have a clever way of disappearing from the eyes of predators

Frogs of the species Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni increase their transparency by two or three times during sleep. This is because during this time they are much more vulnerable to attack by predators. To disappear from their sight, they “store” their red blood cells in the liver.
