Very disappointed in this hotel!
Staff were all very helpful and kind.
While quick access off 75, hotel was dirty and even had mold. So very sad.
Always been faithful stayers at Choice Hotel properties but think we will be finding other options in places to say.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Acadia D.FL, FL021Jun 4, 2023
Would not recommend staying here. From the moment we walked in it was dirty everywhere. There was mold on the ceiling, stains on the curtains, hadn't been vacuumed, dirty microwave, water leaks on the ceiling, a large crack in the door that you could see out to the hallway. I could go on and on. The people at the front desk were polite when asking for a refund. Save yourself the time and book elsewhere.

We stopped for the night on our way to Florida. The best was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower had plenty of water pressure and the bathroom was clean. Plenty of cable options for watching TV.
Although nothing pushes it into 5 star range, it's a clean comfortable stay at a reasonable price.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David G.Winchester, KY3214Oct 16, 2022
Stayed at Comfort Suites in London KY this past Friday night. At check-in, I was told we had no reservation in a very curt fashion from a guy with a disgruntled face. I told him yes we have a reservation and an email confirmation, and re-spelled my name for him. He searched his computer screen for a couple minutes before he found it. Then he had to check printed tickets for a couple more minutes before he found his paperwork. He gave me the room key cards.
I went up to the room with my bag and into the bathroom, since I had been on the road a couple hours. Then I heard someone opening the door to come in! I had the bathroom door open since I was alone, so I yelled "STAY OUT!" loudly a couple times. Then I discover that the toilet flush mechanism is broken! Not funny. I had to leave immediately for a meeting, and when leaving the room I see a young man in the hallway, and asked him if he had entered my room. He spoke very poor English, but he said yes he was coming to fix the toilet. I told him that should have been done before they gave me the keys to the room. He said it would be fixed in 5 minutes. So I didn't ask to change rooms and left for my meeting. I returned four and a half hours later. Went to the toilet - not fixed! So I called the front desk, and guess who answered.....He said he would come immediately and fix the toilet in five minutes. He came. He said it was fixed......but that he wouldn't have the right parts until the next day.....do what? The hotel was full so we couldn't change rooms. But ok as long as it was fixed. A couple hours later we went to use the toilet before bed. Guess what? The flush mechanism is still disconnected! So we stayed, and I reached into the back of the toilet to pull the flapper every time we used it, since we were leaving early the next morning. Not happy!
Upon checkout, they give us a receipt. The numbers on the receipt don't add up! Stupid computer I guess. When we asked why the difference, they said they don't know why that happens and revised the bill correctly (about $5 less).
We were happy to leave.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin S.San Francisco, CA02Mar 31, 2023
Holes in walls, carpeting old and torn, dirty lobby, dirty room, blood on blankets, 2 inch gap at bottom of door to hall, can see people walking by. Just nasty. Only positive is kind staff.

Im a truck driver and me and my mother had to stay a night here. Check in was very smooth the room was nice and clean. We checked out and didn't get to leave Kentucky today so we came back to rent a room and they said we Couldn't rent a room to us because their sheets were missing (we strip the beds every time we leave hotels and put the covers in the corner of a room ) we sat in the lobby for an hour after check out waiting for a Lyft and not once did they mention anything to
Us. When we came back the front desk women on shift showed us a text message from the morning shift saying not to rent to us. We only have book bags and
A duffle bag we offered for them to look through the bag for proof of the sheets they declined. It's getting late the closest hotel is across the intersection.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gary C.Gatlinburg, TN02Oct 22, 2022
Reservation thru Expedia for Oct 7 and 8, 2022. Checked in at 3:30pm, threw stuff into the room, and left for the event we were there for. Came back around 9:45pm, wife went to shower while I went to car to have a smoke and rearrange our junk. Came back in 15min to find wife scared to death. Man had come to the door, knocked, shook door handle..she grabbed the handle and asked what he wanted. Said wanted to know if someone was in the room. I immediately went to front desk to report incident, and found it was one of the three young men standing behind the desk. Said their "system was messed-up" and wanted to know if room was occupied... WHAT ? One of the three was the clerk that gave me the keys when I checked in, I recognized him... I expressed my displeasure firmly, letting them know I wasn't an easy target.. I have no idea why they didn't use the phone, instead of leaving the desk, why he was shaking the door handle, or if he went into the room while she was in the shower, ( master key ), why he didn't bother to identify himself as a desk clerk... etc etc ... Didn't sleep much, had a very bad feeling about it all ( 41+ years of Law Enforcement ) .. left the next day, still got charged for both nights but at least we are safe. Posted this on G**gle reviews but it got removed in two days.. Do as you will, but be vigilant if you do !

In fairness to comfort suites, it's been two years since I stayed here. But the first room I stayed in had the air conditioner start smoking! That was not cool.
On top of that, the room smelled awful with smoke! It was a nonsmoking room! Oh and the doors were always slamming super loud.
After the ac smokes they moved me to a different room. This room smelled like wet dog. When I inquired about it, the desk person told me that they sometimes allow people with dogs to stay in that room. Hotel policy was no dogs but as a dog owner and lover, I thought that was nice of them.
The town of London is fairly small and doesn't have a whole lot to do. So that meant all the kinds would hang out and go to the movies and then walk across the comfort suites parking lot to go to speedway. I know this because they are super loud! Hah
The front desk staff is a great group of people. Always super courteous and helpful. The breakfast could have been Breyer but it's not awful considering it's a hotel! Hah
They just went through a remodel here so hopefully it's gotten a lot better. It's definitely not the worst hotel I've stayed in.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 26, 2017Previous reviewIn fairness to comfort suites, it's been two years since I stayed here. My van broke down just south of London, Ky. I was dropped off at a local garage and walked to Comfort Suites. I told the front desk clerk about my situation and was able to check in early. I spoke with a different front desk clerk the next morning and asked if I could sit in the lobby until the garage called back. She said it was no problem at all. The room was clean and it was very quite. Very close to restaurants, gas stations, and the interstate. The staff was very understanding of my situation and they deserve five stars.

I stay at a lot of hotels. This would rate below average bath tub stooped up. The beds were clean . Breakfast bar lady was not o top of things . It was just a hotel room just passing through needed for the night I would not stay here. Two things the staff did was I poor taste. Talk nasty to a customer in front of me and gave us the wrong key twice.
