KWIK TRIP

Great little store. People are very nice inside and professional. Very clean inside. They run great specials thru the week for food items. Pizza is great. Get one on sale for as little as $5

When it is -16 below, you have a caffeine headache, and are low on gas this is a necessary stop pre-freeway in Baldwin. A few weeks ago I had visited here to top off. The employees were friendly and I appreciated a place to get a hot cup of coffee.

Hilariously I couldn't find basic coffee and real cream in their large coffee bar area. They had many, many varieties of flavored coffee and flavored and powdered creamers. I ended up cobbling together a hazelnut creamer with vanilla coffee and whip, but "simple" drip coffee with real cream seemed to be the one thing I couldn't locate.

This is, by far, one of my least favorite Kwik Trips to visit because I frequent a lot of them as an OTR driver. Tonight was, regrettably, my worst experience here. It is fairly cold tonight with a terrible wind and I wanted soup. Normally KT has great soup and tonight they had one of my favorites, Beer Cheese. Yup, it *was* one of my favorites; it was watered down, *way* past its prime, and colder than it should have been...I wasted my money on that :(

However, my biggest issue tonight wasn't that I couldn't eat my dinner, it was this associate speaking to a coworker about how much a third coworker doesn't do her job. Guess what? Your customers *don't* need to hear that. I normally love the friendliness of KT associates. Not tonight :(

This place has everything that you could ever want from a roadside store. When you are driving down the highway, this is one of the few places in the general vicinity. It does the trick if you just want to stretch your legs a little, gab a quick bite or something to drink and head back on the road. They also offer some really good deals! For example:

A bag of four donuts for $1.00! I am sure they are a little older but they do a trick for a quick snack in the car. They also offer good sized ( and rather tasty) corn dogs for $1.00 also. Once again, another offering of decent and quick road food!

The place is huge! What ever kind of snack you have a taste for, they are more than likely to have it here. They do have a massive variety of stuff to choose from! The coffee was fresh and the staff was super quick and were were on our way in no time all! It was a very good place to stop!
