When I arrived it seemed pretty decent, the young man at the desk was polite. However while walking to my room just a few doors away there was poop. My room seemed pretty clean and decent, even though I did notice my fire alarm sitting on the shelf. The bed was like sleeping on rocks, least to say I didn't get much sleep. Now here's the kicker. Every time I leave a hotel I like to pile up all towels and bedding, I was in complete SHOCK no HORROR!!!! I had been sleeping in a blood bath!!!! Not to mention my friend got locked in his bathroom in his room. He's actually lucky he left his door unlocked otherwise no one would have heard nor helped him. He would have had no option but to break the door open.
. I was DISGUSTED and DISAPPOINTED!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maria C.CA, CA12541Feb 26, 2024
*BEWARE* BAIT AND SWITCH
I made a reservation on 12/17/23 after reviewing the photos and other reviews which only spoke highly of this establishment. I came in for an early check in, only to my disappointment to find that: (1) the photos and reviews do NOT match the state of the room; (2) there were missing fire alarms; (3) MISSING FURNITURE; (4) cockroaches and other tiny insects; (5) open electrical wires in the rooms; and (6) the entire room smelled like URINE. It took me all of 5 minutes before I went to speak with the front desk. The gentleman offered me a 10% discount to stay. I informed him of all the above issues and how the website photos do NOT match the actual conditions of the room. I received a full refund and took my business to Comfort Inn and Suites, 8 minutes from this motel, and for an extra $63 I got a CLEAN room, functioning locks, breakfast, and NO cockroaches.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Robert S.Palm Springs, CA01Mar 6, 2024
1st room flooded when I took a shower. They moved me to a room that had an empty room with a fridge and microwave on top of it, in a joining room was a bed that was so tall I had to jump to get into it. There were no working lights in the bedroom. There was no other furniture. No side table no chair nothing else at all. A bed a fridge and a microwave. It was clean and the bathroom was nice.
But in a rush to get out of the flooded room, I left my glasses in the bathroom of the other room. I called to be let in. After waiting 15 minutes to get let in by a maid, I walked to the office and they said they were sending a maid. I waited another 15 minutes and still nothing.
I might mention that I'm handicapped and walking is not easy for me. There phone number was changed from what was on yelp, on the motel 6 website and through 411 information. So I couldn't call them.
I was hurting and I started screaming and pounding on the door. A maintenance person came with another guy and yelled at me. I told him to "Fuck Off!" The other asked what was wrong and I explained everything and he opened the door. As he did the other one steps up to me and says. Don't ever talk to me like that, and cold cocks me in the face. I called the police and the guy who let me in lied and said I pushed the other guy and all he did was push me back. And amazingly with all the cameras on the property, like 50 on the three screens at the front desk, none could see right at the pool area where I was attacked.
The manager refused to even come talk to me. It wasn't until I screamed bloody murder that he finally came out because there were other guests that decided not to stay. He refused to even do anything. Said I started it according to the guy who hit me and refused to refund my money back for the night.
The demanded the police remove me from the property.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Faith A.Riverside, CA04Feb 27, 2024
I have stayed at alot of motel 6s. From Corona to Victorville. I have to say this was by far the worst motel 6 ever. Even Riverside motel 6 was better than the ontario location. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Parking lot was sketch af. Tweekers walking around. One guy asked me if I knew where to get a dime bag. Like WTF. Sheets were clean n neat but the walls WERE FILTHY like disgusting filthy. I grabbed cleaning spray from my car n started cleaning the walls. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I could've paid 40 more dollars and stayed at the azure across the st. Never will I stay here again..

Zero stars if I could. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. My bed side table is falling off, everything is dirty, floors are sticky, and the smell is HORRENDOUS. I have never been in such a nasty motel. I deserve my money back. This is rediculous.

This hotel is so sketchy, people drinking outside and tow trucks towing a lot of cars. Not safe at all people live there I didn't know. When I checked in the reception guy told me people live there.

Our stay was great, the front desk helped me quick and I was accommodated early. The check out was easy and everyone was very friendly. I'll be booking here again!

Motel 6 has a bad reputation, but this has to be one of the nicer motels 6's have been at. It was absolutely clean! I booked a room with a queen and king bed (interesting options they have). Check-in and check-out process was very easy. It is complicated that there is only one elevator and I had trouble getting into my room because the housekeeper refused to move her cart for me to get to my door and there was only one way to get there.
-1 star because of communication. My friend had called this motel multiple times to ask about the parking situation. The motel told my friend that it is okay to have two cars per room. I get to the motel and they told me that it is only one car per motel..... which is confusing. please update your policy.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Heidi H.Bakersfield, CA421287Jun 17, 2022
Everything that could go wrong... did. I have stayed here many times and enjoyed it in the past (pre-COVID). The things I liked about it: for a family of 6 we can get a room with 3 beds for a good price and the pool and hot tub are a great amenity. I also like that it is in a nice neighborhood across from a very fancy hotel but this price point is very affordable. I never cared that they don't proved a continental breakfast and I also liked that the rooms are tile floors and super basic but not extremely outdated. There are lots of restaurants and food close
by. Going off this knowledge I booked here again for a 1 night stay and specifically paid $20 more for the 2 queen bed room on Expedia. The first room they gave me was 1 double bed. They said it was Expedia's fault (I believe them about that). I loaded all my stuff back into the car and drove back around to the front office and they changed it out for another room. When I got to the next room, the door wouldn't unlock. Called the front desk again and told them I really didn't want to load all my stuff in the car again, asking if they could send maintenance. They placed me on hold and then came back on to say that maintenance told them that room was having problems with the lock. So they assigned me to a 3rd room and someone from the front brought me a new key after about 5 minutes of waiting. The new room was decent as far as it had the 2 beds needed, but upon review a few things were not up to par. In the main bedroom (2 beds are separated by a wall), the comforter had a cigarette hole in it. I am sure it was washed but don't know how the maids would think it's acceptable to use on the bed. When I took off my shoes and walked around the floor had a sticky quality to it. There were also little hairs all over the sink but he bathroom, the guest before me must have shaved and the cleaning crew did a bad job cleaning. The front door deadbolt does not work properly. Also one of the Tv remote controls did not have batteries. My son and I walked back to the front desk to get batteries after setting down all our stuff, and upon returning to the room discovered that the remote still wouldn't work and the reason was that the TV was missing the power cord. What the heck!?! At this point I am beyond irritated but don't want to go ask to be sent to a 4th room and don't want to bother the nice people at the front desk anymore :/ When we were at the front desk I bought a bottled water for $6! And then I asked if they had an ice machine. After knowing how much we have already suffered, they were really bummed to tell me that all the ice machines are out of order. Are you kidding me!?! Another thing that was bothersome is that prior to COVID they used to have the pool/hot tub open til 10, or maybe it was even 11. But now they close it at 9 pm. Since we got here later, we were out of luck. They have free coffee in the lobby tomorrow, we will see how that turns out but I am not expecting much. Used to love staying here but don't think I ever will again. The quality has gone way down hill and now they have made the saying "you get what you pay for"'so true. I am
so disappointed. $100 for one night has become the new roach motel price point I guess :(Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Area Man V.Fullerton, CA173516Jul 27, 2019
Nope. See the pictures. I checked in. Unremarkable process.
* There was a Motel 6 denizens there yelling for an iron that he did not want to provide an ID for. Keep that in mind if you have kids.
* Drove around and parked near the stairs closest to my room. Walked up the stairs. Walked into my room.
* Within ten seconds of first entering, I noticed a buttocks indentation on the bed.
* Within fifteen seconds, I encountered a 3/4 used cigarette alongside a pair of $10 female sunglasses one would find for sale at a convenience store. (See picture)
* With 23 seconds, I discovered (on another table) another used (90%) cigarette, a partially used bad of "Swisher Sweets" (I Google: cigarillos), and a peachy- pinkish colored cosmetic-looking thing.
* With in four minutes. I was back in the lobby getting a refund.
* The front desk staff viewed the images and curiously did not seem surprised: "Oh" was the verbiage offered.
